How to Enable Javascript    (If Necessary)

Internet Explorer 5
(these instructions copied from those for IE 5 on Windows; still need to check to see if following is correct for Mac)

  1. From your browser's main menu, select Tools / Internet Options . . .
  2. An Internet Options dialog box opens. Click the Security tab at the top.
  3. On the Security page of the dialog, click the "Custom Level . . ." button near the bottom.
  4. A Security Settings dialog box opens. Scroll down the list in this dialog until you reach the Scripting section. Note that there are two subsections.
  5. Click the "Enable" option under "Active scripting".
  6. Click OK to exit the Security Settings dialog box. Click Yes when asked if you want to change the security settings for this zone.
  7. Click OK to exit the Internet Options dialog box.
  8. If you see a Javascript error (or error indicating icon on the browser's status bar), reload the page.
