Reflection of Light and the Reflecting Telescope

This animation illustrates the principle of reflection and how reflecting telescopes work. These telescopes use reflection from mirrors to collect light and focus it at a point. Usage: Click the "Play" button to begin; "Stop" halts the movie. "Home" returns you to the beginning.
