The Behavior of Gases
The way that gases behave is central to understanding how stars form and work. The following
Java virtual experiments from the University of Oregon
permit you to investigate the nature of gases in response to changes in
temperature, pressure, and volume.
These experiments assume that the gas in question is an ideal gas. This assumption is
valid for most stars.
