Reddening and Extinction by Dust
This animation illustrates the role of interstellar dust in dimming light, and also
shifting it to longer wavelengths. These are called extinction and
reddening, respectively, by astronomers.
Usage:
Click "Play" to begin and when the button turns red to continue.
Click "Stop" to pause.
"Home" returns to the beginning.
