Main Sequence Life
Life on the main sequence represents the longest and most stable period in a star's life.
The star burns hydrogen to helium steadily in its core, and because of the self-regulating nature of the
hydrogen fusion reaction, hydrostatic equilibrium is maintained to high precision.
