Accreting Binary

This animation illustrates schematically the orbit of a close binary system and the streaming of matter from the larger star into an accretion disk around the compact companion. Usage: Click "Play" to begin and "Stop" to pause the animation. "Step" moves forward one step and "Back" moves backwards one step. "Home" returns to the beginning from any point.
