Short-Lived Events?
The observations of the adjacent frame that quasars can reside in a host galaxy and not damage the galaxy despite
their large energy output suggests that they may be short-lived phenomena. Perhaps they last only millions of
years until their fuel is cut off, and then go dormant until something disturbs the galaxy enough to begin
feeding the central black hole again?
